The hot 42-year-old signed on to star in Tyler Perry's Single Mom's Club. Nia joins Colombian-American actress Zulay Henao and Bridesmaids and "Reno: 911" star Wendi McLendon-Covey to complete the trifecta of moms.
The ladies will play mothers from different walks of life who are brought together by a crisis and their kids' school. Actors William Levy and Tyler Perry will play the male leads with Tyler also writing, directing, and producing.
Lionsgate promises to release the film May 9, 2014.
