Beyonce Knowles has proved her love to husband Jay-Z by splashing out a staggering £1.3 million on the world’s fastest supercar for his birthday.
The 29-year-old singer – who married Jay in April 2008 – lavished the rapper with a prized Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his 41st birthday on December 4th – but had to wait more than a year for the custom made car to finally arrive.
“Jay has one of the most enviable collections of bling motors in the world- but even for him the Bugatti is special,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “Obviously money isn’t a factor for Beyonce, but Jay will be touched that out of everything she could have bought him, she chose something he’ll treasure for years. He’s in for the ride of his life.”
The Bugatti will now take pride of place alongside the other cars in Jay’s fleet, including a Maybach 62S, a Ferrari F430 Spider and a Pagani Zonda roadster.
Last year Jay and Beyonce were listed as the highest earning couple in showbiz after raking in more than £68 million between June 2008 and June 2009.
