Drake Warms Up The Ladies, "Just Like You...I Get Lonely Too"

Young Money rapper Drake has released the first track from his upcoming It's Never Enough R&B mixtape set to drop later this year.

According to reports, the rapper's song draws inspiration from famed R&B group TLC.

Produced by Drizzy's partner in crime, Noah Shebib aka 40, "I Get Lonely Too" isn't exactly a new song, as it is his spin on legendary girl group TLC's song "Fanmail." Where TLC's "Fanmail" was a bouncy, futuristic love letter to their fans to tell them they're more alike than they think, Drake's "I Get Lonely Too" is a mellow, almost dark portrait of his longing for companionship. Drizzy isn't much of a vocalist, but what he lacks in vocal ability, he makes up for in emotion -- or maybe it's just expert studio vocal manipulation. Either way, it's an appetizing sample of Drizzy's mixtape, It's Never Enough, hitting the internet soon. (Neon Limelight & sohh.com)

  1. I love Drake much better as a rapper than a singer. Gud song but not a single material.

  2. He's not a bad singer, but i don't think he would be as successful as he is as rapper. I love the song.

  3. I disagree, Find Your Love was a success. I don't see why he wouldn't be successful as an R&B artist as long as he gets good song. Im loving this one.

  6. There’s too much competition for Drizzy in R&B. Usher, Chris Brown, Omarion, Mario, Trey Songz, Bobby Valentino these dudes make sound average.
