Young Money's Nicki Minaj recently slammed the door on rumors of her dating Bad Boy Records CEO Diddy.
In addition to addressing the dating rumor, Minaj spoke on wanting longevity in hip-hop.
"I am still hungry though, I guess I'm not hungry in a monetary way," Minaj told radio personality DJ Envy. "But I'm hungry like, I want to know what it feels like to be able to have 10 albums under my belt, and I think when you're a perfectionist, when you're an artist, you want to be great at your craft and right now, that's where I am. I feel like, you know what, yes, I am a new artist, I still have to put out an album, I still have to prove myself. I still have to prove myself to me...[Dating Diddy?] That is, wait, can I just say, I hold everybody's hands! I hold my bodyguard's hands! Noooo [I'm not dating Diddy!] Listen, sometimes I think they know these things are false. But when people ask me, I think, 'I didn't even know I was gonna have to even address that.' -- when I'm ready [to announce new management], you'll know."
